Justin said he may have caught the A-list actor on a ‘bad day’ given his reputation as a nice guy in Hollywood.

‘I think I got him on a bad day because others have told me he’s great, but he just didn’t want to be at the red carpet and didn’t like my enthusiasm at all,’ he said.

Justin, who has nearly 25,000 followers on Instagram, regularly does Q&As with his fans on social media.

The reporter spoke about his relationship earlier this year as he revealed one of the ‘most annoying’ questions gay couples get asked.

After inviting his followers to ‘ask me anything’, one curious fan inquired: ‘Are you and your boyfriend in an open relationship?’

‘We actually get this question a lot and I normally ignore it,’ Justin said, cringing at the suggestion gay men are polyamorous by nature.

‘Each to their own but weirdly we are in a very happy, monogamous relationship,’ he added.

He concluded by saying open relationships ‘are just not our thing’.

Justin and his boyfriend aren’t the only high-profile gay couple who have responded to persistent questions about being in an open relationship.

The Amazing Race contestants Tim Sattler and Rod Jones were once forced to set the record straight on wild rumours about their sex life.

The couple addressed the ‘outrageous’ gossip on the Real House Husbands podcast in April last year.

Tim and Rod claimed a former friend had spread the ‘horrendous’, ‘damaging’ and ‘completely untrue’ gossip about them participating in group sex.

While Rod acknowledged the couple’s raunchy Instagram photos encouraged the gossip, he insisted the pair were strictly monogamous.

‘Our pictures get a lot of traction,’ he said.

‘Normally, horny gay boys will comment on our posts and say sexually explicit sort of things. “Are you guys into third?” “Can I join?”‘
